Courtesy meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and United Nations Resident Coordinator in Moldova
On 19 November 2025, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri held a courtesy meeting with United Nations Resident Coordinator in the Republic of Moldova Yeşim Oruç.
During the dialogue, the activities implemented by UN agencies in the Republic of Moldova were discussed, with their support targeting various areas (infrastructure modernization, environmental protection, social services, human rights, energy efficiency). Special attention was given to the projects within the confidence-building measures between the two banks of the Dniester, many of which are implemented by the United Nations Development Programme.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Resident Coordinator for the support provided to our country, including in terms of reintegration, expressing confidence that the cooperation relations between the United Nations and the Republic of Moldova will continue on an upward trend.
