Moldovan MPs attend events marking four years since start of war in Ukraine
Moldovan MPs are taking part today in commemorative events organized to mark four years since the beginning of the war in Ukraine.
According to the parliament’s communication and public relations department, members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Ukraine are paying a visit to the Verkhovna Rada in Kyiv. The delegation is headed by the chair of the Friendship Group, MP Alexandr Trubca. In Kyiv, the MPs will join parliamentarians from several countries in attending the commemorative events organized by the Ukrainian legislature.
Also, on Monday, February 23, the Chair of the Committee for European Integration, Marcel Spatari, took part in the Special Meeting of the Black Sea Security Forum, held in Odesa. The event focused on analyzing how the war is reshaping partnerships and the rules of global power.
The Parliament building was lit up last night in the colors of the Ukrainian flag, as a sign of solidarity and support for the people of the neighboring country.
