Moldovan president congratulated wrestler Anastasia Nichita for world champion title

Chisinau, 16 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu came up with a congratulatory message to wrestler Anastasia Nichita, who on Thursday won the gold medal at the Senior World Championship in Belgrade, the presidential press service has reported.

"Congratulations to Anastasia Nichita, who brought us all the feeling of joy and pride for our country by winning her first world title at the Senior World Championship in Belgrade. Thanks for effort and perseverance, courage and work. I thank her because due to the victory, Moldova's flag was hoisted on the podium of the winners", Maia Sandu said.

The head of state also expressed her gratitude to coach Tudor Cârlan, as well as to Anastasia Nichita's family, who raised a champion. A congratulatory message was also sent to athlete Irina Rângaci, who won the bronze medal at the championship in Belgrade.
