Head of State pays official visit to Slovak Republic

The Presidency of the Republic of Moldova

President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu will be on an official visit to Bratislava tomorrow, March 26, at the invitation of Slovak counterpart Peter Pellegrini. The discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral relations in several areas, as well as on support for our country’s accession to the European Union. The two leaders will witness the signing of a bilateral agreement in the social protection and will hold a joint press conference.

The head of state will also have a meeting with the President of the National Council, Richard Raši, and will take part in a business forum organized on the occasion of the visit, where opportunities to expand economic relations between Bratislava and Chișinău will be discussed. On the sidelines of the event, cooperation agreements are to be concluded between the investment agencies and the chambers of commerce of the two countries.
