Moldovan President met with UK Minister of State
Head of State Maia Sandu met with Minister of State at Department for Work and Pensions of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Diana Johnson, who is in our country on the international conference on social rights. The President highlighted the strong partnership between Chișinău and London, as well as the UK’s support for our efforts to strengthen resilience and democracy.
An important topic on the discussion agenda was bilateral cooperation to support the Moldovan diaspora. In this context, Maia Sandu welcomed the signing of the agreement on the conversion of driving licences, which will help Moldovans settled in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
