Another two parties submit applications for registration in parliamentary election race in Moldova
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today received two applications for the registration of lists of candidates for the position of lawmaker in the parliament of Moldova, in the context of parliamentary elections.
According to the CEC, the Political Party League of Cities and Communes submitted a list with 53 candidates and the Political Party Alliance for the Union of Romanians presented a list with 58 candidates.
As per the preliminary order established by the CEC, the League of Cities and Communes will be on the 15th position on the ballot paper, and the Alliance for the Union of Romanians – on the 16th position.
Over the next seven days, the CEC will examine the files to decide on the registration or rejection of the candidacies. The period for submitting documents for candidates’ registration ends on August 19, 2025.
The parliamentary elections will be held on September 28, 2025.
