First government meeting of 2026; Moldovan PM says a lot of things are to be done

The members of the cabinet of ministers today convened at the first meeting of the current year. It is chaired by Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu, who noted that the cabinet members “have a lot to do” in the new year.

“Welcome to the first meeting of this year. We have a lot to do. May it be a good start,” the PM said.

The agenda of today’s government meeting includes 19 items concerning the approval of new investments in local communities, international agreements and new regulations in various activity fields.
