Moldovan parliament to hold plenary meeting on March 5: drafts in agriculture, justice, transport sectors on agenda

The MPs will convene at a plenary meeting on March 5, starting at 10:00. The parliament’s standing bureau today held a meeting and approved the agenda of the plenary sessions.

Thus, in the second reading, the lawmaker will examine amendments in the agricultural sector, including the transformation of the accounting data network into a network on agricultural sustainability. At the same time, the MPs will discuss the legislative initiative aimed at strengthening the security of judges.

In the first reading, the parliament will consider draft laws regarding Moldova’s legislation on citizenship and the modernization and management of the Giurgiulesti International Free Port.

In addition, the parliament is to ratify a 2009 international agreement on the prevention and elimination of illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing.

The plenary will also hear two activity reports for the year 2025: the one of the National Anti-Corruption Center and the report on the system for providing state-guaranteed legal aid.
