Moldovan citizens to travel visa-free to United Arab Emirates
Moldovan citizens will no longer need a visa to travel to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Cabinet of Ministers approved the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the governments of the two countries on mutual abolition of visa requirements.
Once ratified, the service, diplomatic and ordinary passports holders will be able to enter, exit and transit the territory of the other state without visas for up to 90 days within a 180-calendar-day period.
“The Republic of Moldova is recognized as a reliable partner and thanks to this, our citizens have more freedom to travel, enhance trade and cultural-social exchanges,” Prime Minister Dorin Recean said.
The Memorandum will be signed by Deputy Prime Minister Mihail Popșoi during an official visit to Abu Dhabi, planned for 23-30 June 2025 and subsequently ratified.
