President Maia Sandu was welcomed today by Estonian President Alar Karis in Tallinn. The official visit is taking place at the invitation of her Estonian counterpart.
The visit aims to deepen bilateral cooperation, with a focus on regional security and the Republic of Moldova’s accession process to the European Union.
The agenda of the visit includes meetings with Estonian President Alar Karis, Prime Minister Kristen Michal, Speaker Lauri Hussar, Minister of Foreign Affairs Margus Tsahkna, and the Chair of the Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee, Marko Mihkelson.
The President will also take part in Lennart Meri conference, an annual event in Tallinn dedicated to foreign and security policy.
