Prime Minister: Moldova is and remains alongside Ukraine for freedom, democracy, values defining European future
Moldova is and remains alongside Ukraine for freedom, democracy and the values that define our European future. Prime Minister Dorin Recean conveyed the message on three-year anniversary since the start of the large-scale invasion launched by Russia against Ukraine.
“Three years of unjust war. Three years of suffering. Three years of resistance against Russia's unjustified aggression. In three years, a child learns to walk, a family builds a home, a young person charts a path in life. But in three years of Russian invasion, millions of Ukrainians have lost everything: destroyed lives, children separated from parents, entire cities wiped off the map, and a lot of suffering,” Recean said.
The Prime Minister mentioned that throughout this time, Moldovans have been courageous and in solidarity with Ukraine. He advocated for a just peace for Ukraine.
“We know what it means to be united - for peace, freedom, and a life where our children do not know fear. Moldova is and remains alongside Ukraine for freedom, democracy, and the values that define our European future,” Recean said.
Today marks three years since the beginning of the Russian invasion in Ukraine.
