Sappers check more locations in Security Zone, after multiple robocalls about bomb threats

The technical-explosive police unit today intervened on the ground, after it had received robocalls bomb threats in more locations in the Security Zone. According to the police, specialized services are acting according to protocols and ensuring citizens’ safety.

Reporters from the Security Zone portal informed that the polling station no. 37/11 from Rezina for the left bank of the Dniester temporarily interrupted its work. Presently, all members of the polling station’s electoral bureau have returned to work.

At the same time, the Security Zone reported that the bridge from Sanatauca–Camenca had been allegedly mined and that voters are not being allowed to reach the polling stations. This information has not been confirmed by law-enforcers.

The law-enforcers urged citizens to go out to vote, to consult only official information sources and to stay cautious about narratives deliberately promoted by actors seeking to undermine the electoral process.
