As many as 1,289 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova
Chisinau, 16 September /MOLDPRES/- A number of 11,056 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,289 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which 1,053 among non-vaccinated people.13 out of these cases are import ones. As many as 279,143 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health Ministry, 23 are among medical employees (5- doctors, 6 medical assistants, 12 -auxiliary staff).
As many as 1,617 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 131 are in extremely serious condition and 11 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.
In the context, 4,824 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 16,572 are under supervision at home.
Another 714 people have been treated. As many as 265,144 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 10 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,569 people have died of coronavirus in all.
