Direct train from Kyiv to Chisinau Airport launched in test mode

The Ukrainian railway company Ukrzaliznytsia has announced that the Kyiv–Chisinau train would, for the first time, run all the way to the Eugen Doga Chisinau International Airport. The new route will be launched on April 13, in test mode.

Thus, passengers will arrive at Revaca station, from where they will be transported free of charge to the Chisinau International Airport.

The initiative is being implemented by Ukrzaliznytsia, in cooperation with Moldova’s authorities.

Ukrzaliznytsia said that, if there is a high number of passenger requests to travel directly to the Chisinau Airport, the Revaca station would become a permanent stop on the Kyiv–Chisinau train route.
