VIDEO // Moldovan government's secretary general says Easter fills villages, all Moldova with life, warmth
Easter brings together our localities and families through simple yet powerful things and fills the villages and all of Moldova with life and warmth. Secretary General of the Government Alexei Buzu conveyed a message to this effect on the eve of the holy Easter holidays.
“We are now in one of the most beautiful times for our communities – the Easter holiday. I was born in a village, I live with my family in a village and, year after year, I have experienced the joy of our beautiful traditions. Easter brings together our localities and families through simple, yet powerful things: the spring cleaning that we do together, baking the Easter bread, decorating eggs together with the children, the Resurrection Service and the holy light that we pass from one to another. Easter fills the villages and all of Moldova with life and warmth,” said Alexei Buzu.
The official expressed his hope that this holiday would bring peace to communities, memorable reunions and unique moments spent with loved ones.
“I wish you all that this radiant holiday may bring peace to our communities, cherished reunions and nice moments together with children, parents, grandparents and relatives. Blessed holidays!” concluded Alexei Buzu.
