Eugen Doga Chisinau International Airport ensures stable flights on easter, despite heavy passenger traffic

The administration of the Eugen Doga Chisinau International Airport announces that operational activity is unfolding under normal, stable conditions, despite the massive passenger flow typical of the Easter holidays and the complex regional context. Airport’s teams are working continuously, in order to efficiently manage the increased demand and ensure smooth handling of all flight procedures.

Aviation fuel supply security

In light of recent developments in the Middle East region and fluctuations on the oil products market, the Chisinau Airport gives assurances to airlines and passengers regarding services’ continuity. The supply of Jet A-1 aviation fuel is uninterrupted and current stocks are sufficient to cover the entire flight schedule without disruptions.

“This logistical stability allows flights to operate according to the established timetable, eliminating the risk of cancellations or delays caused by external factors related to fuel supply,” the institution says.

To respond to the increased volume of travelers returning to the country or leaving on vacation, the airport is implementing more optimization measures.

“Airport staff are present on the ground to guide passengers’ flows and reduce waiting times at check-in and security control. Processes are underway to improve operational facilities, aimed at increasing the terminal’s processing capacity, while the main priority stays maintaining a safe travel environment, despite seasonal logistical challenges. We reaffirm our commitment to providing safe and predictable conditions, while also urging passengers to arrive at the airport at least three hours before departure, in order to complete all formalities in good time and without stress,” concludes the administration of the Eugen Doga Chisinau International Airport.
