Bomb threat reported at Chisinau Airport proves to be hoax; terminal resumes operations

The bomb threat reported at the Eugen Doga Chisinau International Airport has proven to be hoax. The airport has resumed normal operations and passengers can continue their journeys.

According to the Border Police, the decision was taken following checks carried out by specialized teams.

"The Border Police, in cooperation with the competent security structures, continues to apply preventive measures against any situations that could endanger the safety of citizens and the security of the state," the authority said.

Following the resumption of airport operations, passengers are urged to check the real-time status of flights on the airport’s online board and to follow official information provided by the authorities.
