DOC // Aneta Gonța officially takes over as head of Audiovisual Council

Aneta Gonța has officially taken over as head of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Moldova, following the publication in the Official Journal of the decision regarding her election to this post.

The decision was adopted by the Audiovisual Council at 3 August public meeting, after Liliana Vițu-Eșanu submitted her resignation on her own initiative.

According to the document, the candidacy of Aneta Gonța, a member of the Audiovisual Council, was proposed by five members of the Council. Following a secret ballot, she was elected with six votes "for," no votes "against," and one invalid ballot.

The decision further provides that, upon Aneta Gonța’s assumption of office, her mandate as Vice President of the Audiovisual Council ceases.

The decision was adopted in accordance with the provisions of the Audiovisual Media Services Code and entered into force upon its publication in the Official Journal of the Republic of Moldova.
