Meteorologists issue yellow heatwave warning in Moldova: air temperatures to reach up to 36°C

Meteorologists have issued a Yellow Heatwave Warning, in effect tomorrow for the entire territory of Moldova. The maximal air temperatures will reach up to +36°C.

According to the Meteorology and Environmental Monitoring Authority, during the day, over large areas, the maximum air temperature will reach values of +33…+35°C, and in isolated areas - up to +36°C.

In the context, the authorities recommend that citizens avoid prolonged exposure to the sun during peak hours (11:00–18:00), increase their water intake, wear light, light-colored clothing, avoid intense physical effort outdoors and use sun protection measures.
