Silver medal for Moldova at European Junior Olympiad in Informatics
The Olympic team of Moldova has won a silver medal at the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics, held in Lithuania.
The silver medal was won by Cristian Plesca, a 7th grade pupil at the Gaudeamus Theoretical Lyceum from Chisinau.
The European Junior Olympiad in Informatics took place in Kaunas, Lithuania, from 24 to 30 July 2026. This year’s edition brought together 100 pupils from 25 countries. Moldova was represented by a team made up of four pupils and two teachers.
