Eugen Doga Chisinau Airport in waltz harmonies: tribute to great composer
The Chisinau International Airport has paid tribute to maestro Eugen Doga, whose name it bears. The first day of spring was transformed into a true celebration of music and remembrance.
Throughout the entire day, the maestro’s works resounded in the airport space. His pieces were played in all areas of the terminal, offering passengers a special atmosphere filled with sensitivity and elegance.
The central moment of the commemoration was dedicated to the famous waltz that has traveled around the world. Its unmistakable rhythms came to life in an instrumental performance by the brass band of the Border Police of Moldova, adding extra solemnity and emotion to the event. In the heart of the airport, waltz harmonies could be heard, turning the transit space into a place of culture and gratitude.
Passengers received Martisors – a symbol of rebirth and hope. The gesture also had a charitable dimension: for each Martisor offered, a hot meal was provided to a person at a social canteen, turning the tribute to the maestro into an act of solidarity.
Eugen Doga’s music continues to unite generations and to carry the name of Moldova beyond its borders.
