Health ministries of Romania, Moldova strengthen bilateral partnership

The health ministries of Romania and Moldova are strengthening their bilateral partnership. The topic was discussed at a today’s meeting between Health Minister Emil Ceban and his Romanian counterpart Alexandru Florin Rogobete, on a visit to Chisinau.

The officials addressed priority topics, such as the exchange of good practices, development of human resources, modernization of healthcare infrastructure and improving the population’s access to quality medical services. The visit aims to identify opportunities for collaboration and to implement joint projects between the two countries.

During the day, the Romanian minister will also visit the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the Timofei Mosneaga Republican Clinical Hospital and a pharmaceutical company, in order to become acquainted with the institutions’ activities and the potential for cooperation in the medical and pharmaceutical fields.

The visit shows the commitment of both states to deepen their partnership in health and to promote sustainable cooperation between the healthcare systems of Romania and Moldova.
