New border surveillance system presented at Tudora-1 border checkpoint of Moldova; focus on rapid response, crisis management
A new border surveillance system has been presented At the Tudora-1 Border Police Sector. It is based on modern monitoring technologies and rapid response capabilities, which enables the quicker detection of potential infringements of the state border regime.
The technological solution helps to identify border incidents in real time and to mobilize operational field teams, facilitating the prevention and efficient management of risk situations.
At the end of the week, representatives of the NATO Crisis Management Centre of Excellence paid a familiarization visit to the General Inspectorate of the Border Police, Eastern Regional Directorate.
The purpose of the visit was to present the way regional and tactical structures are organized and operate, as well as to highlight the experience gained in managing crisis situations at the border.
In addition, at the Palanca–Mayaki–Udobnoye border crossing point, the procedures for joint control and the mechanisms of interinstitutional cooperation were explained, with an emphasis on good practices applied in a cross-border context.
The exchange of experience strengthened professional dialogue among the experts involved and provided an opportunity to leverage international expertise in the field of border crisis management, contributing to the improvement of operational border security capabilities.
