“You are living proof that women have a major, extremely important contribution and are at the forefront of research of Moldova. For this, we would like to thank you, on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Research, and to reiterate our strong commitment to promoting gender equality, supporting scientific activity among women, and everything that concerns their advancement in Moldovan society,” the official said.
Women researchers received certificates of excellence in such fields as computer science, biology, genetics, organic chemistry, ecology, as well as history, philology, and political science.
