Meteorologists forecast nice weather for May short vacation in Moldova
Chisinau, 28 April /MOLDPRES/ – Nice, sunny weather with no rainfall is expected in upcoming period, when employees of Moldova enjoy mini – vacation, due to International Day of Solidarity with Labour People, celebrated on 01 May.
According to the SHS’s information and media communication service, there are expected throughout Moldova temperatures up 28ºC, during daytime, and up to 13ºC, at night, over next days. The canical trend will also be maintained in the second half of upcoming week, when we also have a maximum 28 – 30ºC.
The SHS forecasts are optimistic for those ones planning outdoor activities on days – off and less encouraging for many agricultural producers needing rain for seasonal works.
The lack of precipitation caused announcement of Exceptional Fire Danger by 04 May. As such, in referred period, on a large part of Moldova is forecast an exceptional fire hazard (degree V) of natural character and fire threat of forest strips and agricultural crops. In this respect, rescuers and forest – keepers warn that it is possible to ignite agricultural land, forage land, forest vegetation areas, dwellings and household annexes.
These services require public avoiding use of open fire near dwellings, household annexes and feedstocks on land covered by dry vegetation, especially when located near forests, plantations or high risk fire targets. Also, it is recommended to restrict works that create favourable conditions for production of fires by volatile substances or excessive overheating.
