Chișinău to host Olympic Fest 2025
Chișinău Arena will host the most athletic event of the year – Olympic Fest 2025, organized by the National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOS), with support from the Ministry of Education and Research, Chișinău city hall and the Olympic Champions Foundation. The event will take place on Saturday, May 17, starting at 10:00 AM, in celebration of Sports and Olympic Day, traditionally celebrated on the third Saturday of May.
“This event is important for education, culture, and society because it promotes values, encourages young people to engage in professional sports, and cultivates moral and civic values,” said Maria Timuș, Deputy Head of the Youth and Sports Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Research.
Olympic Fest offers an interactive program for children, young people, parents and public. Participants will be able to take part in the Olympic Run, discover new sports in the Olympic Village, watch sports demonstrations, and participate in competitions and prize raffles.
The School Sports Federation will organize competitions dedicated to students from educational institutions in the capital.
The event will conclude with a prize raffle, where those registered for the Olympic Run and sporting contests will participate.
