
More Romanian, Bulgarian language model classes from Taraclia endowed with new furniture, equipment
More Romanian and Bulgarian language model classes from educational institutions of the southern Taraclia district have been equipped with modern furniture, digital equipment and interactive teaching materials.
Attending the event on the project’ launch, the head of the Interethnic Relations Policy Service at the Ministry of Education and Research, Ivan Duminica, emphasized the importance of these initiatives for the development of linguistic skills of students belonging to ethnic minorities.
In the Taraclia district, there are two Romanian language model classes: one at the Theoretical Lyceum from the town of Tvardita and the other at the Hristo Botev Theoretical Lyceum from Valea Perjei. As part of the project, with a total value of 300,000 lei, educational spaces were endowed with new furniture, interactive boards, printers and teaching materials, such as dictionaries of synonyms and antonyms, portraits of Romanian authors, linguistic maps and specialized literature.
The Bulgarian language model classes also benefited from equipment, opened in four institutions of the region: the Hristo Botev Theoretical Lyceum from Valea Perjei, the Theoretical Lyceum from the town of Tvardita, the Paisii Hilendarski Theoretical Lyceum from Corten village, and Ivan Inzov Gymnasium in the town of Taraclia.
The classes have been equipped with modern furniture, interactive boards, computers, multifunctional printers and teaching materials, including Bulgarian literature books, portraits of Bulgarian writers and historical figures, maps and Romanian-Bulgarian dictionaries.
According to the Ministry of Education and Research, the project, valued at 24,000 euros, was supported by the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of Bulgaria in Chisinau, as well as Bulgarian non-governmental organizations, such as the Scientific Society of Bulgarians in Moldova and the Association for the Development of the Bulgarian Community from Moldova.
