National routes passable in Moldova: road workers intervene on more segments during last night
The road traffic on national roads is taking place in winter conditions and the routes are currently passable. The National Road Administration announces that the roadway is mostly dry, but in the north of the country there are isolated snow-covered road segments.
According to the cited source, during the night, workers from the territorial units of the joint stock company (JSC) Drumuri (Roads) patrolled and monitored the national roads’ network, intervening where necessary with roadway clearing, snow removal and spreading of anti-skid materials.
Interventions were carried out in the districts of Floresti, Soroca, Soldanesti, Glodeni, Ungheni, Ialoveni, Cainari and Causeni, on routes R8, R15, R30, R14, R14.2, G68, G53, G26 and G25.
According to the institution, about 120 tons of road salt and 11 tons of anti-skid material were distributed on the affected sections.
The authorities urge road users to drive carefully and comply with traffic rules, in order to avoid incidents during the cold season.
