Over 70 companies to gather at Tourism & Travel Expo - 2026 exhibition in Moldova; participants prepare special offers for visitors

Over 70 companies from Moldova, Bulgaria and Romania will take part in the Tourism & Travel Expo – 2026 exhibition, due to be staged at the “Moldexpo” International Exhibition Centre from Chisinau during 30 January – 1 February. Participants will promote a wide variety of holiday destinations, offering discounts and special deals for visitors.

The offers of the participating companies include both traditional and new tourist destinations for different categories of tourists, who can choose winter holidays, summer vacations and shoulder-season trips, as well as a wide range of spa resorts. The organizers assure that holiday packages will be available at promotional prices, or during the expo discounts of over 35% will be offered, along with other bonuses.

Tourist destinations in Bulgaria will be promoted at the stand of the Bulgarian Tourism Authority. Visitors will be able to discover unique spa resorts on the seaside and in the mountains, as well as tours and excursions to places of historical and architectural interest.

Romania in 2026 will be represented at the expo by the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism through a national stand.

At the same time, throughout the entire exhibition, Japan Days in Moldova will be held.

Moldova will have a strong presence at the expo, with a wide range of offers. Professional associations, such as ANAT and APIT, will bring together their members in shared stands, presenting diverse packages. Local businesses from the hospitality industry will also participate individually, including guesthouses, wineries and museums.

The domestic offer will also include cultural departments from more districts of the country, namely: Anenii Noi, Cahul, Criuleni, Ialoveni, Nisporeni, Ocnita, Straseni and Ungheni. As in previous years, district councils will take the opportunity to compete at the Festival-Contest of Folk Traditions, organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the National Tourism Office. At this edition, the festival bears the title, The Hearth of Traditions. The contest includes more components: the design and arrangement of stands, traditional promotion of local attractions and presentation of national costumes and cuisine.

The exhibition will open on Friday, 30 January, at 11:00 a.m. and will be open to visitors until Sunday, 1 February. Entrance is free.
