The 29th edition of the International Specialized Exhibition, MoldMedizin & MoldDent, today was inaugurated at Moldexpo Center from the capital. The event brings together more than 100 companies from six countries, presenting modern equipment, technologies and solutions for the medical sector. Visitors will be able to benefit from expert advice and free medical consultations.

This year’s edition introduces a new concept and aims to transform the exhibition into a true Medical Innovation Hub, bringing together in one space healthcare professionals, companies, medical institutions, research centers, technology providers and representatives of state institutions.





The exhibition serves as a platform for presenting the latest solutions and technologies in medicine, dentistry, diagnostics, medical laboratories, pharmacy, medical rehabilitation, health information technology, smart devices and modern medical services.

Speaking at the opening of the event, Health Minister Alexandru Gasnas said that the exhibition presented the latest innovations in medicine, which should become a reality in our healthcare system.

“The Health Ministry does not view the system solely through the lens of technology, infrastructure, or procurement. We need to create services. When we create services, technologies are part of them. In addition, human resources matter greatly. That is why, MoldMedizin & MoldDent is becoming a platform where we should discuss certain difficult topics, rather than avoid them, and, most importantly, create partnerships. The Health Ministry should not be the only one addressing all the challenges in the system. Partnerships must be established with professionals in the field, the private sector, pharmaceutical companies, and technology companies, so that we can develop real solutions, provide support, and consider the needs of patients and citizens of Moldova,” the minister said.

Following the official opening of the event, Minister Alexandru Gasnas attended a business breakfast together with representatives of the medical sector. The meeting provided an opportunity for direct dialogue between the minister, healthcare professionals, and business representatives, focusing on the sector’s current challenges, its needs, and opportunities for development and cooperation.





Zinaida Popa, Director General of Moldexpo, said that MoldMedizin & MoldDent opens the autumn-winter exhibition season. According to her, the organizers aim to transform the event into a hub for innovation.

“This is an emotional moment for us, because every event held at Moldexpo requires effort, dedication, and a great deal of work. MoldMedizin & MoldDent is a challenge for us, prompting us to act quickly and work harder. This year, we set out to transform the field of medicine into an innovation hub,” Zinaida Popa said.

A special project of the exhibition is the Clinic of the Future, where visitors can undergo specialized tests and receive their results on the spot. Innovative medical solutions and software will also be presented there, with exhibitors demonstrating them in digital format.

In addition to the exhibition component, MoldMedizin & MoldDent 2026 includes a comprehensive programme of related events. Conferences dedicated to dentists, a conference for pharmacists and practicing pharmacists, as well as other professional activities for healthcare specialists are planned.

Another feature of this year’s edition is the Out of Care for You project, a public health and medical prevention campaign. As part of the project, visitors will be able to receive free medical consultations and diagnostic services provided by specialist doctors from Moldova and Romania.

The MoldMedizin & MoldDent exhibition will be open until Saturday, September 26.
