Drone briefly entered airspace of Moldova near Palanca
A drone entered the airspace of the Republic of Moldova this morning for approximately one minute, near the village of Palanca. The incident occurred amid massive attacks carried out by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, including in the Odesa region.
According to the Air Operations Service, the aircraft was detected at 10:33 a.m., when it entered the national airspace from the direction of Maiaki, Ukraine.
The drone crossed the state border of the Republic of Moldova near Palanca and traveled approximately 500 meters into the country's territory.
At 10:34 a.m., the aircraft returned to Ukrainian airspace along the same route.
The unauthorized crossing of the airspace of the Republic of Moldova was confirmed by representatives of both the Border Police and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
