As of today, Chisinau Airport implements special access measures: rules for travelers
Starting today, Eugen Doga International Airport – Chisinau is implementing special access measures in the terminal amid increased passenger traffic generated by the departure of Hasidic pilgrims. The new rules will remain in effect until September 17 and are necessary to ensure the orderly management of passenger flows and to maintain safety and order within the airport premises.
According to the airport administration, during this period, access to the terminal is permitted only to passengers, airport personnel, and aircraft crew members. Passengers may enter the terminal no more than three hours before their scheduled departure time, based on their travel document and flight confirmation. Access for accompanying persons is restricted.
At the same time, the movement and parking of coaches will be managed in specially designated areas, in accordance with the instructions of responsible personnel and the competent authorities. Drivers and group organizers are urged to follow the designated routes, stopping points, and instructions provided by the teams on site in order to avoid blocking access roads to the terminal.
The measures are being implemented jointly by Eugen Doga International Airport – Chisinau, the Border Police, the Customs Service, the General Inspectorate of Police, the General Inspectorate of Carabineers, the National Public Security Inspectorate, and the National Food Safety Agency.
Passengers are urged to check their flight status on the online board, prepare their documents for inspection, and follow the instructions of the teams on site.
