Moldovan Speaker to pay working visits to Slovenia and Hungary
Speaker Igor Grosu will pay working visits to Slovenia and Hungary next week. The agenda includes meetings with high-ranking officials from both countries, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and interparliamentary cooperation, as well as supporting the advancement of the Republic of Moldova in the European integration process.
In Ljubljana, the Speaker will meet with President of the Republic of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar and President of the National Assembly of Slovenia Zoran Stevanović.
The working visit agenda in Slovenia also includes discussions with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Tone Kajzer, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee Franc Breznik, and Chair of the European Affairs Committee of the National Assembly Andreja Katič.
Igor Grosu will also visit the Slovenian pharmaceutical company KRKA, where he will discuss the company’s activities and development prospects, as well as opportunities to strengthen economic cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector.
Subsequently, on September 16, Igor Grosu will pay a working visit to Hungary. In Budapest, he will meet with President of the National Assembly of Hungary Ágnes Forsthoffer and hold discussions with Hungary’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Orbán.
Also in Budapest, Igor Grosu will meet with representatives of the airline Wizz Air. The discussions will focus on prospects for expanding the Republic of Moldova’s air connectivity and opportunities to develop new connections for Moldovan passengers.
