Six local camps #HomeCamp2025 to be organized for children of Moldova, Diaspora this summer

Six local camps titled #HomeCamp2025 will be organized from July 15 to August 15, with the support of the European Union and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Moldova, within the Confidence Building Measures programme.

The project gives young people of Moldova and the Diaspora an opportunity to learn, cooperate and create lasting friendships in a safe and inspiring environment.

"The camps aim to promote intercultural dialogue and social cohesion, as well as encourage the civic engagement of the younger generation. Participants will explore such subjects as leadership, respect, diversity and teamwork through interactive and creative activities: personal development workshops, educational games, cultural activities and leadership exercises," said UNDP.

The camp’s agenda includes actions to promote dialogue and cooperation between young people from different backgrounds, creating a safe and inclusive space for informal learning, stimulating civic participation and the spirit of initiative, strengthening democratic values and social empathy.

The #HomeCamp2025 camps are more than just summer fun - they represent a training ground for future active citizens, capable of contributing to a supportive, open and European society.
