Two bomb alerts in single night at Chișinău Airport

Two bomb alerts were recorded during the night of May 21, 2026 at Chișinău International Airport Eugen Doga, with authorities intervening to evacuate passengers and airport staff.

According to the Border Police, the first alert was received at 00:31, and the second at 04:33. In both cases, specialized services carried out security checks inside the airport, but no suspicious or explosive objects were found. Authorities determined that the alerts were false. According to officials, the situation was managed safely, and the airport’s operations were not affected.

At this time, Chișinău International Airport Eugen Doga is operating normally.
