VIDEO // CSP approved three interim appointments to leadership positions within Prosecutor’s Office
The Superior Council of Prosecutors (CSP) today approved the appointment of three interim deputy chief prosecutors within the Prosecutor’s Office system to ensure continuity of managerial activities and the efficient operation of the relevant units.
Thus, the CSP approved the appointment of Grigore Potoran as interim deputy chief prosecutor of the Chisinau Municipal Prosecutor’s Office, Main Office.
At the same time, Anatoli Arabadji and Dmitri Ianac were appointed as interim deputy chief prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office of Gagauzia.
According to the CSP, the decisions were adopted based on the provisions of the Law on the Prosecutor’s Office and were grounded on criteria such as professionalism, relevant experience within the Prosecutor’s Office system, institutional continuity, and the need to ensure effective managerial activity.
CSP members noted that interim appointments are a temporary solution provided by law, intended to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of institutions until the positions are filled through competition.
