VIDEO // Speaker’s message before Eurovision
Speaker Igor Grosu sent a message of support ahead of the Eurovision final, which will take place this evening in Vienna. He urged Moldovans from the diaspora to cast their votes for Satoshi.
The official delivered the message from the city of Soroca, where Europe is being celebrated today.
“From here, I am calling on Moldovans everywhere: let’s all mobilize, no matter where we are, and vote for ‘Viva Moldova’! This evening, Satoshi represents our country on the Eurovision stage. We are proud that the names of Moldova and Soroca are echoing across Europe. From Soroca to Palma de Mallorca, we are proving that Moldova has talent, voice, and people who know how to represent their country with dignity,” Igor Grosu underlined.
He called on Moldovan citizens everywhere to vote entry number 16 for “Viva Moldova” and for Satoshi. “May it bring good luck! Thank you, Satoshi, for giving us emotions and for carrying Moldova forward with pride. Go, Moldova!” Igor Grosu added.
Satoshi, the representative of the Republic of Moldova at Eurovision 2026, will take the stage this evening in Vienna, where he will compete in the grand final of the music contest. The artist will perform 16th, in the second half of the show.
Citizens will be able to cast their votes through several methods, depending on the country: via the official Eurovision Song Contest app, online voting on the www.esc.vote platform, by SMS or by phone call, using the numbers provided by national broadcasters during the live broadcasts.
Fans in the Republic of Moldova cannot vote for our country’s representative in the contest. However, citizens from the diaspora who are in countries participating in tonight’s final can cast votes for Satoshi.
