Veterans Affairs Office to operate in Moldova
By 1 October, the Veterans Affairs Office will be established and operational in the Republic of Moldova. Prime Minister Dorin Recean made the statement today during a meeting with war veterans.
The official emphasized that war veterans understand from their own sacrifices and experiences how important it is to maintain peace in the country, to protect the freedom and values that were fought for more than three decades ago.
'In today's discussion, I thanked the veterans for supporting the European path. We have agreed that by 1 October, the Veterans Affairs Office will be established and operational. Together, we will continue to defend the dignified history of our nation and the legacy we will leave for our children. Moldova grows through memory and respect for those who defended it, but also through a peaceful future for all citizens,' declared Dorin Recean.
The Veterans Affairs Office is intended to ensure effective communication between veterans' civic organizations and the Government to address the challenges they face.
