Seventy kindergarten educators from across the country participated in the Innovation in Education seminar, organized by the Ministry of Education and Research in partnership with Shape Robotics, under the Improvement of Education Quality Project, funded by the World Bank.
Educators learned how to use KUBO robots in daily activities with children to develop literacy, numeracy, spatial orientation, logic and group cooperation skills. The training aimed to support logical thinking and anticipation skills in preschoolers, using technology as an educational support.
Violeta Spînu, director of Andrieș Kindergarten in Țînțăreni, Anenii Noi, emphasized:
“KUBO appeals to children's attraction to technology and gadgets, while also reducing the time spent in front of screens. Children learn through play, making the educational process attractive and interactive.”
Of the 200 kindergartens in the country that benefited in 2025 from equipment, furniture, and didactic-methodical materials funded by the World Bank through the Early Learning Partnership (ELP) grant, 51 chose to purchase educational robots, integrating technology into the educational routine.
