DOC// Families of Moldovan diplomats detached to the Netherlands to be able to work
The decree on promulgation and the law for the ratification of the Agreement between Moldova and the Kingdom of the Netherlands on the remunerated work of family members of members of diplomatic missions or consular offices have been published in the Official Journal and have come into force.
The agreement allows spouses and, in certain cases, children maintained by the diplomatic, administrative, and technical staff to work in the state in which they are assigned.
Presently, the diplomatic mission of Moldova in the Kingdom of the Netherlands includes four diplomats and one member of the administrative and technical staff, each entitled to be accompanied by family.
The Republic of Moldova has also signed similar treaties with 11 countries, including Romania, the United States of America, France, Germany and Poland, and is negotiating agreements on the matter with India and Spain.
