
Health sector mobile teams of specialists to go to territory to promote vaccination against COVID in Moldova
Chisinau, 29 September /MOLDPRES/ - Mobile teams of specialists in the health sector and communication, through the Coach of Health, this week will go to settlements from the Drochia and Taraclia districts, in order to discuss with people the benefits and the safety of vaccines.
According to the Health Ministry, the specialists move to the districts with the lowest immunization rate and answer people’s questions about the vaccine.
At the same time, trainings are held with specialists from the sectors of health, social assistance, education, local public authorities, representatives of religious cults about the benefits of the vaccination and the way how they should efficiently communicate with the residents about the vaccines, techniques of counseling and promoting the immunization.
The campaign of informing the population from rural regions about the importance and benefits of the vaccination started on 4 August 2021 and is carried out within the World Bank’s project, Emergency Response to COVID-19 in Moldova. The campaign’s goal is to enhance the acceptability of the residents from rural regions to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
