Tiraspol gives up military parade on occasion of so-called republic's day this year
Chisinau, 24 July /MOLDPRES/ - The so-called authorities of the breakaway Transnistrian Moldovan republic (rmn) today informed that they would not organize the military parade this year, dedicated to the so-called republic day. They explained the decision by the ‘’complicated geopolitical situation.’’
According to a press release from the Transnistrian region, the agenda of the marking, in next September, of the so-called republic day will not include the military parade in Tiraspol, but only laying of flowers and activities locally.
The breakaway rmn authorities extended the yellow code of terrorist danger till 16 September this year. Under an order by the alleged leader of the Transnistrian region, Vadim Krasnoselsky, the terrorist danger will be monitored on the left bank of Dniester for another 60 days starting from 18 July.
The concerned decision sees the continuation of the activity of patrols, made up of so-called representatives of power wielding bodies, on streets, in markets, on stadiums, in parks, in stations, in bus terminals and in other crowded places. Also, decision-takers make additional verifications of gas pipelines, gas distribution stations, ‘’in order to verify possible locations of placement of explosive devices.’’
The terrorist danger warning was launched on the left bank of Dniester in May 2022, when more series of shorts occurred in the region. The warning was periodically prolonged.
