Prime Minister after Moldova’s qualification for Eurovision final
The Republic of Moldova was seen and heard on an important European stage. We all felt genuine joy and pride yesterday. The message was delivered by Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu after our country’s representative, Satoshi, qualified for the grand final of the Eurovision contest.
The Prime Minister congratulated our country’s team and wished success in the grand final of the competition.
“Moldova’s representative Satoshi has qualified for the Eurovision final, and I hope that on Saturday we will all be rooting for our fellow Moldovans. Yesterday I felt genuine joy and pride. We congratulate them for this result and for the fact that once again Moldova was seen and heard on an important European stage,” Alexandru Munteanu said at the beginning of today’s Government meeting.
The Republic of Moldova qualified for the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, following the first semifinal held on Tuesday evening in Vienna. Satoshi, with the song “Viva, Moldova!”, will perform in the grand final on 16 May.
