Schedule of events dedicated to Romanian Language National Holiday announced in Moldova
Chisinau, 28 August /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall today announced the schedule of cultural and artistic events dedicated to the Romanian Language National Holiday.
According to the city hall, the manifestations dedicated to the Romanian Language National Holiday will start at 9:00 with laying flowers at the monument to poet Mihai Eminescu from the square of the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre.
A schedule of public reading titled, Books Get Life, will take place on the Eugen Doga Pedestrian Street at 16:00. A contest of reciting poems, dedicated to children of the first form, will be held at 17:00.
The schedule will culminate with a music show titled, In the Same Language, during which well-known artists will perform at the event, accompanied by the symphony orchestra conducted by Dumitru Carciumaru.
The schedule will end will a recital given by the Cristofor Aldea-Teodorovici Orchestra.
