Eurovision 2026: Second semifinal takes place today

The second semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 takes place today, May 14, in Vienna, where representatives of 15 countries will compete for a spot in the grand final scheduled for May 16. Taking to the competition stage will be artists from Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Romania, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic, Armenia, Switzerland, Cyprus, Latvia, Denmark, Australia, Ukraine, Albania, Malta and Norway.

The Republic of Moldova has already secured its place in the final of the contest, after Satoshi impressed the European public in the first semifinal with the song “Viva, Moldova!”. The artist managed to qualify our country for the decisive stage of the competition, which will take place on May 16 in Vienna.

According to the organizers, ten countries from each semifinal advance to the final, where they will be joined by the states that qualify directly: France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and Austria, the host country.
