
Applications launched in Moldova to verify civil liability, Green Card insurance premium for car owners
Chisinau, 17 February /MOLDPRES/ - The National Commission of Financial Market (CNPF) has informed about the launch of online instruments of verifying the calculation of the civil liability (RCA) and Green Card insurance premium for car owners, with the application of the bonus-malus class.
According to CNPF, the instruments launched provide transparency in the process of calculation of compulsory civil liability insurance premiums for car owners; the insurers will have possibility to be informed about the bonus-malus class, in which they are involved and with the tariff of the civil responsibility insurance policy for car owners.
„The online applications are accessible and can be used from any location or from any device connected to the Internet, by accessing the webpage of the authority: www.cnpf.md at the section Sistem RCA Data,’’ CNPF said.
The online calculations are available for private people and legal entities and post the results in just seconds and among the search criteria, there are: personal code (IDNP), state identification number (IDNO) and the number of the vehicle’s certificate of registration, the National Commission of Financial Market said.
The bonus-malus system is used at the conclusion of RCA contracts for the vehicles registered in Moldova and provides for a string of cuts and increases of the RCA insurance premium, depending on the history of the insurer’s damages. The goal of the system is to stimulate the disciplined drivers.
Bonus-Malus system includes ten Bonus classes and six Malus ones.
