Government to implement 11 new development projects in localities across country
11 new regional and local development projects, worth about 208 million lei will be implemented in localities across the Republic of Moldova. The inclusion of the projects in the Single Program Document for 2025–2027 was approved by the Government.
The initiatives will contribute to improving citizens' quality of life by increasing urban mobility, rehabilitating water and sewer infrastructure, and developing economic activities.
Three projects involve the construction of regional markets in Edineț, Comrat, and Cahul to support agricultural producers in marketing their own products and to provide consumers with access to quality local products.
Another two projects will be implemented in Bălți, aiming at rehabilitating Kiev Street for safer urban mobility, as well as modernizing water supply and sanitation infrastructure on the same street.
Furthermore, six projects are aimed at major repairs and the rehabilitation of socio-cultural buildings in the localities of Lăpușna, Roșcani, Florești, Colicăuți, Pelinia, and Taraclia.
Through these projects, the Government continues to support community development, improve living conditions, and ensure more accessible and modern public services for citizens.
The Single Program Document 2025-2027 currently lists 244 regional development projects, 1477 local development projects, and 23 projects submitted by local public authorities for repairs and rehabilitation of socio-cultural buildings.
