
Moldova's exports of agricultural products grow in 2024
The exports of agricultural products increased in 2024, according to the Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry (MAIA).
According to statistics, last year, the exports of oleaginous seeds and fruits grew by 28.4 per cent; vegetables and fruits – by 10.6 per cent and the export of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 17.2 per cent. Also, in 2024, 1.9-fold more living animals were exported.
„These are outstanding figures; yet, beyond the figures, there are people. We are grateful to all those who put soul in each phase: farmers, processors, carriers – you are ambassadors of the Moldovan taste,’’ MAIA said.
