Moldova's progress, European expertise discussed with French officials
The progress made by Moldova this year and the need for technical support and international expertise to advance the European agenda have been the main topics addressed by Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov during her meeting with Mathieu Vasseur, the regional director for expansion and neighborhood of the French Development Agency (AFD), and Ambassador of France to Moldova Dominique Waag.
The officials discussed ways in which France's support can contribute to implementing the country's priorities, particularly in such areas as infrastructure, energy, environment and business sector’s development.
"We discussed the progress made by our country and the areas in which we need support and technical expertise to advance the European agenda," said Cristina Gherasimov.
The deputy PM emphasized appreciation for the French investments made in Moldova and reiterated the government's commitment to continue the European path, including within the Growth Plan for Moldova.
