
Sweden's Minister for European Affairs on working visit to Moldova
Sweden's Minister for European Affairs Jessica Rosencrantz is paying a working visit to the Republic of Moldova, at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov.
According to Cristina Gherasimov, officials will discuss issues on the European agenda of the Republic of Moldova. The agenda also includes a dialogue regarding relations with the European Union, followed by a joint press conference, scheduled to take place at 5:15 PM.
For May 7, a joint visit to Ialoveni district is planned. The Swedish minister and the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration will have discussions with local public authorities and citizens, participate in activities dedicated to Europe Day, and attend the final ceremony of EuroQuiz 2025 competition.
The visit is taking place in the context of strengthening bilateral relations and the constant support offered by Sweden in the Republic of Moldova's process of joining the European Union.
